Our podcast’s main objective is to provide a space for our voices to be elevated, to be reckoned with. In a sense, it is about building and reinforcing our counter culture to gentrification through arts and mediums that give way to our cultural production (a communal production). The people that live on Buford Highway, that depend on Buford Highway for their livelihood have stories that need to be heard, that ought to be heard. We do not want another person espousing cultural tolerance through reviews of foods/restaurants that are situated on Buford Highway. We are much more than reviews and some likes on Yelp.
